I have a question...
A friend of mine is interested in UC and I want to ask a few questions since I'm gathering some info for her.

1) Is UC overall more left or right leaning? (this probably pertains more to this specific community:o)
2) How is the Psych program at UC? A lot of research opportunity, or not really?
3) How do you feel the queer community is at UC? Accepted? Not at all recognized?
4) What do you like best about UC?

Hey, this is so past when you posted it, but I'm a psych major, so I'll offer a little. There are research oppurtunities for undergrads if you discuss it with a professor. But for the most part, research is for when she gets to graduate school. Overall, it's a pretty good program. If psychology is something she's really interested in, she'll fly through her psych elective classes. There is a really wide range of topics that the electives deal with. She will have to take a 3-course sequence involving statistics and research methods during her sophomore year. Hope that helped!
